Common failure & service notes

1. Case drain back‑pressure >5 bar: Top failure cause for Staffa series; leads to shaft seal blow‑out, accelerated internal wear, efficiency drop. Always monitor drain back‑pressure.

2. Cavitation damage during overrunning winch lowering: boost‑pressure circuit is mandatory.

3. Shaft seal leakage: common marine wear‑item; replace complete heavy‑duty seal kit during overhaul.

4. Shock pressure spikes: system relief valve shall limit intermittent pressure ≤300 bar.

5. Spare‑parts warning: HMHDB200 internal heavy‑duty components cannot be replaced with standard HMB200 parts.
